New to Castor Bay

Hi I would like to meet up with other ocean swimmers maybe at weekends, or in the evening, ideally at Takapuna or nearby. I am a complete novice, still need to get a wetsuit! Also just moved here from UK 2 weeks ago, so it would be good to meet some people! Lindsay

Hi Lindsay, I am too a complete novice and although I did not take part this year I intend to for the 2010/2011 ocean swim. I live in Castor Bay and we have been here for 3 years after moving from the UK via South Africa. If you need still need someone to swim with please let me know. Hi Lindsay, you are more than welcome to come along with our group of swimmers. We try and swim at Long Bay on a Sunday afternoon. Some of us will most probably be going out this weekend. (21st Feb) You could txt me for details of time and place 0211471726 Cheers Richelle
