Squad-swimming is the perfect way to learn new skills and improve your fitness. It is fun, motivating, and a great way to meet new people. You're all in the same boat, so to speak; so don't feel intimidated by the concept. You will be placed with a group of swimmers that are at the same level as yourself - all ages, and all shapes and sizes!
In Christchurch you have the chance to win one of five entries to the State Corsair Classic by training at the Councils Recreation & Sport Centres.
To make it easy for you, we have compiled details of the pool squads in your area. Please select your area of training from the list below.
We will be updating this page as new information comes to hand.
Kiwi Fitness run squad sessions on Saturday mornings, starting at 9.00am at Corsair Bay. These squads are free of charge.
Squads will commence 10th January 2009. Sessions are 45-60 minutes. They are suited to swimmers of all levels and cover a range of different aspects of swimming in open water.
